Is The Web Camera Or Chat Light More Important?
In order to be seen on a web cam chat, you have to have the web cam. But in order to be seen correctly and in good light, you need to have the chat light attached to the computer. So, now it becomes a game to determine which one is more important to have on your computer system, the camera or the light? It kind of turns in to which came first, the chicken or the egg? You can’t have one without the other, and how did you get the first one in the first place?
The short answer is it would probably be more important to have the web camera first, so that you can actually have the web cam chats with your friends or relatives. But in order to have successful web cam chats, you need the chat light. If you only talked to relatives who knew you very well, you could probably get away with only having the web camera for a few weeks until you could afford the chat light. But if you use the web camera for anything else, then you must get the video chat light as soon as possible or it could hamper your efforts.
How could a light hamper any efforts you made on a video chat? In a lot of ways, actually. Just think about the business proposal you have been spending weeks on. You are presenting it to a client where you could earn a lot of money from in the future. When you finally have that presentation done, after weeks and weeks of hard work, do you want to sit in front of the web cam and have half of it be dark or in shadows so they can’t see it? No. You didn’t work so hard all of that time in order to get the project half recognized. And a half recognized project might get overlooked in favor of one that was in full view. With a chat light.
A chat light can make or break any kind of deal. There are all of the business meetings you could conduct online or there are the personal ones. Have you ever had a video chat with someone you were considering dating? You wouldn’t want to make a date if they were hidden in the shadows, would you? A chat light will illuminate the whole process and make any video chat a success.
