Why Can’t I Just Use My Desk Lamp For Lighting My Video Chat?
Have you been sitting at your desk, early in the morning or late at night and had a request come through for a video chat? It could be from a friend, it could be from a relative or it could be an associate through work that wants to have a quick chat session. So, you turn on the camera and start talking and they ask what is wrong with your picture. They can’t see you very well. The desk light is on, so you fiddle with it and shine it at the web cam and that makes it even worse! What can you do to chat during the dark hours yet still remain in good light with whoever is on the other end?
A video chat light is one apparatus that will help illuminate you web chats, no matter what time of the day or night they take place. The web chat light is needed instead of a desk lamp for several reasons. Have you ever went to move the desk lamp and burned a finger because the light bulb was so hot? Exactly. That hot light near your expensive computer screen is probably not the best idea. A web chat light is designed to stay cool to the touch and near the expensive computer equipment you have. No one wants to burn their screen out on a light.
The lightbulbs used in a desk lamp can also adjust the view from the other end of the web chat. Do you look all blue? Maybe yellow? Or does it add a soft fluorescent glow to your face? The lighbulbs on a desk lamp are made to see white paper while you work at a desk. They aren’t made to highlight a person’s face to be seen on the other end of a chat. A web chat light is meant to stay cool and keep the colors it is shining on true to their actual color.
The desk lamp is also hard to maneuver to shine on your face. Most times, the desk lamp will end up shining right in the web cam, making it a glare for the person trying to watch the glare. No one likes to stare in to the sun, so they wouldn’t want to stare in to a light either! Get a web chat light and solve the problem in a simple way.
